| Description: | The trail passes through rural countryside that features interesting rock outcroppings and great wildlife viewing.
Cautions: There is limited signage along the trail. During winter months this trail is used exclusively for snowmobiling.
Directions: Parking and trailhead kiosks are located at each end of the trail. In Haliburton, access via County Rd. 1 (where the Rail Trail crosses the main road - just metres from the lights at the intersection of Hwy 21 and County Rd. 1). In Kinmount, access via Austin Park.
This trail is a featured ‘Adopt-a-Metre’ trail. You can help construction and maintenance efforts by adopting a metre of the Haliburton county Rail Trail today - 80 cents of every $1 is spent on the ground.
