| Description: | The trail starts in the south bay of Scorch Lake, following the Scorch Lake Lookout Trail for 137 meters until it branches off the east along an ancient cadge road. It is fairly easy walking with a gradual climb to a hardwood ridge. There is one low swampy area with evergreens. You enter the farm site through a plantation, on the site you will see the remnants of a farmhouse, four barns, a blacksmith’s shop, numerous small outbuildings, stone fences and wells
Cost: A Park Permit is required at a cost of $12.00 per vehicle. They are available at Pine Groove Point Lodge which is located at the end of the Kingscote Lake Access Point Road.
Directions: The Bruton Farm Hiking Trail can only be accessed by Interior users from Scorch Lake.
