| Description: | This trail has everything - a rocky ridge, a great lookout over Oxtongue lake (Beetle lake can’t be seen from this trail!!), a beautiful creek, an amazing bog and fabulous hardwood hills The trail begins in the bog and hikers work their way up to ridge, the trail then heads down to creek and the hardwood forest.
Directions: From Dwight, take Hwy 60 east to Oxtongue Lake. Parking and trailhead kiosk are located at the Timber Trail Algonquin (just over the bridge at Oxtongue Lake).
