Silent Lake Provincial Park Trails| Length: | 40.0 | | Rating: | easy | | Description: | The trails wind their way through hardwoods, cedar swamps, and groves of white birch and beech sands. The terrain is rugged but ideal for family skiing. All four connecting loops start and finish at the parking lot. Different parts of the trail system are designed for novice, intermediate, skilled skiers and skate skiers. There are three warm-up huts along the trails and winter campers can rent one of three yurts, located just off of the ski trails.
Cost: A day-use fee of $9.50 per vehicle applies.
Directions: Silent Lake Provincial Park is located on Hwy 28, approximately 8 km south of the Hwy 118 intersection. The main gatehouse can be found just inside the park entrance.
