Frost Centre Ski Trails| Length: | 25 km | | Rating: | easy to challenging | | Description: | Seven stacked-loop trails of varying difficulty provide access to a variety of terrain: mixed hardwood forests, majestic stands of white pine and hemlock, cliff top lookouts and frozen waterfalls. Visit the Ski Friends of the Frost Centre at the link below for detailed trail descriptions. There are two warm-up huts en route and a privy toilet at the entrance.
Cautions: The Moose Trail should not be attempted after 2 pm to avoid skiing back after dark.
Cost: A daily ski pass or season’s pass is required. Half-day permits are also available after 2 pm. A permit sales booth is staffed on weekends and a self-registration box is located at the map shelter. Please see Ski the Frost's website for prices.
Directions: Located along Hwy 35 (adjacent the Frost Centre facility) approximately 25 km north of Carnarvon, or 10 km south of Dorset.
