Snowshoe

“If you can walk, you can snowshoe”. And what better place capture the magic to do it than the Haliburton Highlands.

Whether you’re looking for an adventurous trek or a short, refreshing walk our 15 trails provide something for everyone.

With more than 75 kilometres of trails, there’s literally a trail around every corner! From Harrison Woods Hiking Trail in Carnarvon to Brenda Ann Chambers Trail just off County Road 1 to Silent Lake Provincial Park outside of Bancroft there are trails all across the county.

Please remember that snowshoes can ruin groomed ski trails and undo hours of volunteer work, so stick to the snowshoe trails and stay off the cross-county ski trails.
