ATVCome and experience one of Ontario's most awesome and memorable ATV experiences! A century’s worth of logging trails through beautiful forests and over rocky landscape are now accessible thanks to the Haliburton ATV Association.
ATV use is restricted to Crown Land trails and althought there are hundreds of acres of Crown Land here, it's dotted with private lands and trails, so when you come to ride in the Highlands we do recommend that you purchase a Haliburton ATV Association Trail Permit. Permits and ATV Trail Maps can be purchased from any of the following outlets,
- The Trails and Tours Office, Carnarvon
- Buttermilk Falls Resort, Algonquin Highlands
- Northland Marine, Carnarvon
- Lea's Lawn
- County Information Centre, Minden
- Prentice Power Sports, Minden
- Outdoor Equipment, Haliburton
- Agnew's General Store, Wilberforce
- Jackies Restaurant, Gooderham
***NOTE: Permits are required to ride the Haliburton County Rail Trail.***
